Sydney Jordan

Sydney Jordan is currently based in Denver, CO dancing for the Denver Broncos as an NFL Cheerleader. Prior to the NFL, she also danced in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets. Originally from the Nashville area, she began training in all styles at a young age. She graduated with a B.A. in Dance from the University of Tampa, also double minoring in Film & Media Arts and Psychology.

 

Sydney had many pre-professional opportunities training with Walt Disney World, Moscow Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Middle Tennessee Youth Ballet, and more. She officially began her professional dance career in college. She performed in multiple shows at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. She traveled internationally with JUNTOS Collective to teach dance in Guatemala and Mexico. She choreographed for American College Dance Association and 8+ showcases as an undergrad at the University of Tampa. Since she also has a passion for joining dance and videography, Sydney had the opportunity to assist in directing a dance film for WEDU that was aired on PBS and showcased her own dance film at ACDA. Sydney was awarded the “Charlene Gordon Award in Dance” at the University of Tampa – the highest honor a graduating senior can receive; awarded to one student in the program from their hard work, drive, passion, and character.

 

As she continues dancing in Denver, she finds joy in teaching, performing, choreographing, and inspiring young dancers to explore their unique creativity surrounding dance. Sydney loves to stay connected with everyone she meets, so feel free to reach out with questions or to stay in touch! @syd.jor
